O' Connor is excellent as the rejected Van Der Bexton and some of the speed dating scenes are hilarious.
'Fast Romance' follows the interweaving stories of seven very different people who decide that, in their pursuit of love, it is time to try something new.
Little do they know that after one night of speed dating their lives will take dramatic new twists - and we'll be there to witness each and every one of them. Directed by Carter Ferguson and written by Debbie May and James Mc Creadie.
Our heroes lives are thrown upside down and events twist and turn before reaching a satisfying conclusion.
Additional props go to Simon Weir who plays Nadine's disastrous date at the start of the film, and James Mc Credie as Carlo, Nadine's confidante."Fast Romance" moves along nicely for it's 93 minute duration.
I won't go into any more of the story from there as it'll spoil it, but everything changes from the speed-dating night.
There are some great cameos in there and characters you won't forget.
Great reaction from the audience particularly to Don Wycherley as the inept Detective.
To take it so seriously is to miss the point, its a comedy and very funny one at that.
No matter what they do, nothing ever goes right for them.
